Almost done, I think.

The colors need a bit of tweaking, but overall, I'm much happier with this version.

I got inspired by this photo by WildPlaces at DeviantArt.

Sometimes I see a photo and I feel like I have no choice but to draw it.  Such was the case here.

Haven't had much time to paint these days.

Here's some progress on the mermaid piece.  I like the figure better.  The flow feels better.  The overall color balance is looking decent as well, I think.

Now it's refining all the details.

I was inspired by all the pastel work that the Pixar artists did on Finding Nemo storyboards, so I thought I'd try a similar approach.
